Double exposures are beautiful and surreal, and in this video we are learning how to make a print from two medium format negatives, using only one enlarger. The method used is not the simplest one, but it allows greater control over the printing results. If you have two enlargers, it will be extra easy! In the end, the previously made double exposures are looked at in great detail.

RECOMMENDED MATERIALS

• Ilford Multigrade Fiber-based or Ilford Multigrade RC V paper

• Multigrade filters

• Empty paper box with a light-tight bag, or a darkroom paper safe (if using one enlarger).

• Photoshop, Snapseed or other software to do a digital mock-up of the double exposure. Overlay mode: linear burn.
